Time To Develop
Your Practice.

Hi, I'm Ashton

In case you don’t know me, I’m a yoga teacher that is dedicated to providing you with the information that you need to develop your own practice without seeking false happiness through instant gratification, body comparison and ego based practices.

My favourite things in the world are self-discipline and consistency. Weird, I know…I’m a bit obsessed…in the best possible way.

Thing is, when I was 21, I had a terrible case of hormonal burnout and nobody was able to help me. Not my endocrinologist, not my family doctor, or family member, and no physical trainer…Well, at the time that’s what I thought…I realised that it was up to me to change my mind-set.

Everyone was able to help me, but I wasn’t able to help myself and through that mind-set I didn’t allow the cooperation of others to guide me into the right direction… I felt that it was easier to fall into a habit of self-pity instead of self-respect.

So the journey of learning began.

It started with an idea - if brushing your teeth twice a day, every day, year after year is a duty, an obligation towards the overall purpose of your well being, and there is no mental agitation behind the action - you simply do it, because it’s the right thing to do.

Why can’t physical activity be the same?

Unsurprisingly, the subject of fitness is marketed as ‘physical improvement’ at a materialistic and sensual level. The internet was (and still is!) full of conflicting and confusing information, and to make things more detrimental social media platforms seem to be the new google!

We find ourselves following countless terrible tips from the internet and so called fitness gurus, believing all of the hype and random marketing claims. We follow the herd instinct, instead of questioning, thinking and determining for ourselves…We simply do what is told and copy what others are doing.

What if you changed the mind-set and allowed yourself to develop an ideal where physical movement becomes a selfless act that you perform as duty or obligation to your overall wellbeing. Letting go of the false expectation, instant gratification, body comparison and egocentric desires.

It‘s possible to make sense of the nonsense, so that you can develop your own practice…In fact, a practice that supports your lifestyle, allowing it to be consistent, and self-disciplined throughout your life.

The thing is that it’s extremely easy to fall for crazy claims and marketing when it comes to fitness.

We have all heard the following:

×  No Pain, No Gain

×  Targeting Fat Burn

×  You Shouldn’t Stretch Before A Workout

×  Drink Apple Cider Vinegar To Lose Weight

×  Don’t Exercise For Less Than An Hour

×  Detox To Lose Weight

×  Yoga Is For Older People

×  You Just Have The Wrong Body Type

×  Try These Diet Pills (the horror!)

This is simply incorrect advice that you’ll hear. Trust me, I’ve been down that road myself, and have seen what it does!

And though I wish I could give everyone the same answer, I can’t because it would be irresponsible of me — every person is different and people are composed of different natures, each will require a different routine.

So I created a service for people who are serious about developing their own Yoga routine.

It’s called Studio Classes!

What are Studio Classes?

Studio Classes are limited to small groups, ensuring quality over quantity.

My intention with YOGA was and still is to provide insight on some of the most commonly overlooked factors that lead to the lack of self-discipline as well as moving for one's own requirements. We are all different and require different forms of movement.

There is no such thing as one size fits all.

Therefore Namaste Fit adapts every 6 months to what's currently needed body, mind and intellect.

We practice weekly routines, where we learn and understand the mechanics of body movement and figure out which routine works best for you.

This Is For You If

✓   You are ready to learn about and understand body movement.

✓   You want to invest in yourself through the duty of selfless practice.

✓   You are committed to productivity and progress.

✓   You want to develop your own practice.

✓   You’re tired of the nonsense and confusion.

✓   You are tired of overpaying for products and trainings that don't do what they say they will do.

✓   You’re growing more and more excited as you read this and wish to work towards a purpose.

This Is Not For You If

×   You're not ready for Yoga, and will continue to self-sabotage any progress.

×   You're looking for a quick fix.

×   You're not interested in committing to a new routine.

×   You can't be bothered to learn and understand.

×   You want me to tell you what to eat – Yoga Teacher not Dietitian.

×   You want somebody else to do everything for you (growth is your responsibility).

×   You are comfortable playing the role of self-pity instead of self-respect.
