It’s no secret that practicing yoga can boost your mental, physical, and spiritual health.
But did you know that yoga can also pack a serious punch when it comes to your legs? That’s right: Both standing and supine (lying on your back) yoga positions may help improve balance, flexibility, and strength in your lower body.
Let’s get into how to read this E-book.
This book has been divided into two main sections: Chapter One – The Body, and Chapter Two – Let’s Get Started. Each section can be read as a completely stand-alone book: each section discusses two very different aspects of the body and Yoga. The first section introduces the anatomy of the body, what your body comprises of and how it works. This exploration looks at the physical, the energetic, and the psychological.
The second part of the book contains descriptions of the physical practice: how to practice Yin Yoga, and what to practice, including most of the main Yoga asanas and stretches for tight legs, and some sample sequences.
